FLORENCE, Texas (KXAN) — A 21-year-old woman was killed Friday when a pickup crossed into her lane and hit her head-on.

Karen Liliana Juarez was driving her Chevy Impala west on SH 138 near U.S. 183 about 7:15 a.m. when a Chevrolet 1500 pickup heading east crashed into her.

Juarez, of Florence, died at the scene.

The driver of the truck, Tobias Dennis Myers, was injured in the crash. The 25-year-old Lampasas man was in serious condition at St. David’s Round Rock.
