AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man is in the hospital after being stabbed several times in South Austin on Friday night.

According to Austin police, the stabbing victim was found around 7:10 p.m. in the parking lot of the Popeye’s Restaurant in the 9700 block of Manchaca Road.

Authorities are still trying to determine where the actual stabbing happened, but initial information indicates it might have stemmed from a fight.

No arrests have been made at this time.
