Williamson County, together with the City of Cedar Park and Waste Management, are hosting a FREE household hazardous waste collection event. The event is Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Gupton Stadium at the corner of Gupton Way and E Park Street.

ACCEPTEDÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
•   Acids
•   Aluminum and other materials
•   Used motor oil and filters, antifreeze and batteries
•   Cleaning products such as polish, oven cleaner, drain opener, stain remover
•   Lawn and garden chemicals, herbicides and pesticides
•   Transmission and brake fluid
•   Household products labeled “caution,†“warning†or “poisonâ€
•   Paint, lighter fluid, solvents and varnish
•   Pool chemicals
•   E-waste: computers, printers, scanners, cell phones, etc.
•   Auto tires (car light trucks up to 24†– wheels/rims removed) limit of 5 per car
NOT ACCEPTED
•   Agriculture chemicals
•   Asbestos-containing material
•   Dioxins
•   Containers larger than 5 gallons
•   Explosives, fireworks, ammunitions
•   Household trash
•   Industrial or commercial or business waste
•   Propane cylinders of any kind
•   Compressed gases
•   Medical and pharmaceutical items
•   Paper and cardboard
•   Radioactive materials (smoke alarms)
•   Tires w/wheels/rims attached
•   White goods (refrigerators, washers/dryers)

GUIDELINES
•   If possible, bring products in original containers.
•   Do not mix or consolidate products.
•   Separate and group your items prior to drop-off and label them.
•   Properly seal containers to prevent leaking.
•   Haul containers in trunk or back of vehicle, away from passengers.
•   Please let volunteers help you unload your items.
•   Only go through the line one time.
•   No trailers longer than 16-feet will be accepted.
•   No walkups
•   No contractors or business refuse will be accepted.
