Summer Reading Program
Lucas Miller, the Singing Zoologist, entertained the crowd at the Taylor Public Library’s Summer Reading Program event Wednesday by singing and dancing to songs about different animals. As part of the Summer Reading Program, the library holds free events like this at 10:30 a.m. every Wednesday through July 25 for kids and their parents to enjoy. In observance of Independence Day, however, the library will be closed July 4. Also, a Science Rocks trailer will be at the library this Friday, where from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m., kids will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on science activities.
