Round Rock’s Rockin’ Economic Boom
From KXAN.com “ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) – A job report released Friday shows unemployment is on the rise in the U.S. with only 62,000 jobs created in the month of May and unemployment rates rising to 8.2 percent.
But it’s a different story for the city of Round Rock where job-and-economic growth is thriving.
At a luncheon held by the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Sen. John Cornyn praised the city’s thriving economy that specifically looks at ways to attract companies to town.”
