Man keeps vehicle but lands in jail for threatening repo man with shotgun

LEANDER — Threatening the repo man with a shotgun might help you keep your vehicle for a few more days, but it can also cost you a lot more.
That’s what happened to a Leander man earlier this month, according to a felony complaint filed Monday.
Tyrone Attles was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after for allegedly taking his vehicle back from a repo tow-truck driver.
Police responded to the 200 block of King Elder Lane where a repo driver told police that he was in the process of legally repossessing a vehicle when Attles grabbed a shotgun, told the truck driver he had 3 seconds to return his vehicle or be killed, and then started the countdown, according to the complaint.
The repo driver said he was in fear for his life
