Naked body under bridge near Houston
PASADENA, Texas (AP) — Police in Pasadena are investigating the death of a woman whose naked body was found under an overpass on New Year’s Day.
Pasadena Police spokesman Vance Mitchell told the Houston Chronicle the woman, whose body was found Sunday, is Hispanic. She appears to be in her mid-30s Mitchell says police believe she was beaten because she has visible bruising on her face.
Mitchell says police are not releasing her identity until her family has been notified.
Police say a passerby spotted the body under the overpass and alerted police.
Pasadena is a town about 15 miles southeast of Houston.
